About Ee Ling
Low Ee Ling is concurrently appointed as an Associate Professor at the English Language & Literature Academic Group & Sub-Dean of Degree Programmes at the National Institute of Education, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She obtained her PhD in Linguistics (specializing in Phonetics) from the University of Cambridge in 1998 under NTU's Overseas Graduate Scholarship. Her research areas are in phonetics, pronunciation teaching and World Englishes. To date, she has co-authored and co-edited 10 books in her research areas. Her work has also appeared in internationally refereed journals like Language & Speech, TESOL Quarterly and Laboratory Phonology.
