About Kenneth
Kenneth Keng Wee Ong is a lecturer at the Language and Communication Centre, School of Humanities and Social Sciences, Nanyang Technological University. He holds a concurrent appointment as a research associate at the Department of English, University of the Free State, South Africa. The courses he teaches include graduate and undergraduate courses in research writing and technical communication. He is currently doing doctoral research at Nanyang Technological University. He has published in international, peer-reviewed, SSCI-indexed and high impact Journal of Psycholinguistic Research (Springer) and Discourse Studies (Sage). He received the Dean’s Commendation for Research award in 2010 and 2011 conferred by the National Institute of Education. His current research interests include English-Chinese bilingual processing, second language vocabulary acquisition and computer-mediated discourse analysis.
