Storying Change: Narratives of Today and Tomorrow

The School of Arts & Social Sciences, Singapore University of Social Sciences, warmly invites you to its biennial Language in Singapore forum, Storying Change: Narratives of Today and Tomorrow, which will be held on Saturday, 26 August 2017, from 2:00pm to 5:15pm (registration from 1:00 pm; guests to be seated by 1:45 pm).

This forum will bring together speakers from various fields to explore stories about change at the national, societal and individual levels. The theme of change aims to capture narratives of shifting landscapes in the languages, identities and cultures of Singapore brought on by factors such as the rise of globalization, increase in immigration, advances in the economy, and emphasis on skills upgrading.
